Word of the Day: Generosity

For the 12th consecutive year, the Saugus-Everett Elks Club has donated Webster’s dictionaries to every third grader in the city. The effort, which is spearheaded by Past Exalted Ruler Carlos Orozco, is emblematic of the Lodge 642’s tireless dedication to the Everett Public Schools. By providing every third grader in the city with a dictionary, the Elks Club is supporting the school department’s commitment to improving literacy throughout the district. This year, the Elks Club made its donation at the Madeline English School, where administrators joined Elks leaders to mark the occasion.
